Great Salem Coffee Shop/Bakery. It’s a delightful bakery cafe with lots of fresh bread and pastries and friendly people and several tables and cute art on the walls.I tried the walnut sticky bun for $2.60: really good, lots of the good burnt sugar stuff, yum yum yum . And I couldn’t resist a maple pecan chvre tart for $4.25: really intense, a dessert not breakfast. They had a peanut butter honey and pickle sandwich on the menu. Superb. My partner and I ate here today when visiting Salem and had some of the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. The coffee and the pastries are also excellent – try the peach tart ! The staff were also friendly and service was quick. Great value for money. I would highly recommend this place when in Salem.
Are you kidding me? This was one of the finest bakeries that I have ever visited! The desserts are incredible, homemade and the staff are pleasant and helpful. Even though my nephew is one of the bakers, if there was an issue I would not hesitate to mention it. I was blown away and only wish we had one of these in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Mouthwatering and has created a location to which I will always visit when I visit my niece and nephew! A must visit if you truly appreciate great pastries and fresh breads.
Mmm mmm. This place is fantastic, has been since it opened! Not a lot of seating but they make delicious breads, good sandwiches, and a good cup of coffee. Your really can’t go wrong. My favorites are the sourdough and the apricot and ginger scone with a latte:)
Excellent bakery. Love this little bakery! The bread (the epi is my favorite with some cheese or soup), pastries, bread pudding, granola… it’s all delicious. Treat yourself by dropping by the bakery in Salem or the Marblehead farmer’s market in the summer months.
Their scallion and goat cheese scones are amazing! I can’t wait to try more of their pastries and breads.
