Hands down the best lobster roll I’ve eve had. I’m writing a book on lobster rolls and clam chowder and this roll is in the top 2 of hundreds of places.

New favorite sandwich shop. This is my new favorite sandwich shop in downtown Salem. Got the Italian Beef sandwich with hot giardenieria – awesome! Will definitely be heading back.
Quality and Value!. I have visited The Hungry Whale on numerous occasions, and have never been disappointed. The owner’s are welcoming and the sandwiches are phenomenal. They are constantly upgrading their menu with new choices (try the pulled pork) while maintaining their staples. You need to get to The Hungry Whale for a Whale of a good Sandwich!
