Polar grams. We had great meals here today, one person had fish tacos, one had a hamburger and the third had a BLT. All were very good and the pickles were especially yummy. We were there in the late afternoon so perhaps the service is slower at dinner time as some reviewers say, but we didn’t find that to be true when we were there at all. We are all from out of town and would definitely go back if it were closer to our homes on the West Coast!!
If you’re in a hurry, scratch Scratch.. This place was recommended to me for some time but only for a limited number of items. I started a new job in the next town over which made it a lot easier to finally check the place out. . Ive been there three times since May. Each time, I was taken care of by the same server. She is the mother of either the owner, co-owner or the chef, something like that. She is very nice in a motherly way. However, she seems to be the only one serving and she certainly doesnt drink much coffee. So, if you do go there, dont be in a hurry. I actually saw many potential customers leave because they didnt want to wait. WOW! On the first visit, I had rings and wings. Its what was suggested to me by the BBQ dude. They were both, fantastic, the rings were crispy and flavorful and the wings were cooked to perfection with a most original flavor. I tried a deli style sandwich on my next visit, it was average, kind of messy and the brisket was pretty mushy due to the fat. On the last visit I went back to the rings and wings. This was when I saw all these people walking in, waiting and leaving. It was very awkward. Well, my rings were over-salted and although the wings had the same flavor as the first time, what I got on my plate was all wingetts. What happened to the other half of the wings? Not a single drummett to be found anywhere.I mean, who does that? I had every intention of saying something but I never got the chance. Tired of waiting for mommy-server to come around, I got up to pay as I had to get back to work. She never asked me how my lunch was, just handed me the check and took my payment. Not sure if Im going back again. I did want to try their bacon as its house made and supposedly very good. The same can be said of their chips too. So, bottom line, I might scratch, Scratch off my list of places to go.
Very good food. Great sauces. Service was friendly but off and not focused. Had to ask for things several times. My kids loved the burgers and pasta.
Service was slow. Food was not good and we are not sure how one can mess up a club and burger. The idea is great just the implementation needs work.
Good & Bad The food was gre…. Good & BadThe food was great, everyone enjoyed what they had. BUT, the service needs major improvement. They forgot one order, so by the time we received it we had to get it to go. Now running late I signed the bill and only gave $5 for the tip because that was what service was worth. But later going over the bill notice they added the tip to the bill already for Bad Service.
Food is bad and cold service was terrible food portion to small
