Perfect Pizza, Okay wings. If you are only going to offer two things at your restaurant, you should make sure to do them both perfectly. Angela’s coal fired pizza may be the best traditional pizza I’ve had in Boston, thin crust with a light char from the super high temp oven, and fresh, creative toppings applied with restraint. The Figaro pizza, with Mission figs, prosciutto and mozzarella was topped with arugula and cracked black pepper after coming out of the oven and was a delicious mix of salty, sweet, and chewy. The Buffalo Chicken pizza had an interesting blue cheese sauce and chunks of chicken breast marinated in spicy buffalo sauce. A little messy to eat but really good nonetheless. The wings were honestly okay, like another reviewer has said, the skin was a little gummy rather than crispy which most wing fans prefer. But the heavy coating of rosemary was a perfect complement to the caramelized onions served with the wings. Pressed to make a complaint, I would say that the music was extremely unpleasant — a blasting cacophony of that wailing, screeching, Maria Carey showboat music that made conversation impossible. Otherwise everything was great!

Amazing pizza especially top steak pizza and as always best wings in massachusetts. Staff is super nice and beautiful. Friendly atmosphere. I wish more places existed like this……

Idea Steeler. This place is a joke — complete rip off of Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza which was started in 2002. Same pizza, same wings and EXACT same salad in the EXACT same bowls…….

Salt, salt, and more salt. So much salt on the three different pizzas we had that they were practically inedible. Crust wasn’t anything that special either. Better pizza at Cafe Capri in reading or even Gregorys.

Very good pizza. wings Meh. I tried Angela’s Pizza and Wings this weekend on route 1 in Saugus. First we got an order of their famous wings. I thought they were just okay. They were marinated and had good flavor, but the skinn was a bit mushy. The foccaccia bread that the wings come with was nasty and cardboardish, which had me very concerned for the pizza!!we just got a plain ol’ pizza margherita. It was delicious!!!! the crust was nice and tender and well charred from cooking in the coal oven. Reminded me of pizza’s that I have had in naples! The sauce was great and fresh and the fresh basil sprinkled on at the end was amazing. The only downside i had was that I would have liked a bit more sauce. So next time I go i will skip the wings and ask for more sauce.

I had tried their pizza and wings soon after they opened and I was instanly hooked. The meat falls of the bone on their wings and they have a unique taste to them that keeps you wanting more. The pizza is cooked with a new style that simply out of this world. I highly reccomend it to any pizza lover or to someone looking to try some new.
