Really disappointing. Service was poor to begin with. Waitress seemed overwhelmed with the volume of customers. My wife had the crab pie. She thought something was wrong with her taste buds and asked for my opinion of the taste (or lack of it). I tried it and said that it has absolutely no flavor. I was shocked as I heard our friends with whom we were eating rave about it. I had salmon. It also was tasteless. It didn’t really taste like salmon it was so bland, and the filet was small. I may go to the bar next time I am in Boston, but I will not waste money in the restaurant.
Consistantly Good. Jimmy’s is a favorite of our family. The steaks are consistantly delicious and cooked to perfection. The crab meat pie is a great option for seafood lovers and the marinated steaktips are my personal favorite and remind me of the days when the Hill Top was great. Yes I can remember that far back!

The worst meal I’ve had in a while. Paid $19.99 fo Mothers Day special of filet mignon and lobster pie. Filet was not cooked correctly and was a bit gamey tasting. Lobster pie was not fresh and loaded with cracker crumbs and butter. The service was good but I wouldn’t go back because of the poor quality of food.
We arrived at 9:00 on a Saturday night and were seated right away. We were seated right under an ac vent so at times it was uncomfortable. We started with a drink that was average at best. I had tips and lobster pie with baked potatoe. My wife had panko chicken and rice. She thought it may have been undercooked, though the parts she ate were enjoyable. Some of my tips were overcooked, but most were perfect. The lobster pie was O’K. I might return, though this is not a favorite. On a 1-10, I give them a 7.
Jimmys Steer House Not Good!. I went to Jimmys on a Saturday night which was very busy. We had a 50 minute wait to be seated.Everything started out alright except for the waitress was a mess. She acted like her life was over. She couldnt handle how many tables she had. There was seven of us and we had problems with almost every order. I got the baked stuffed shrip and the breading was mushy.The prime rib was flavorless and the aujus was bland. We had to ask for steak sause even though everyone but I orderred steak. The bernaise sause was cold and wouldnt pour because it was like jello. My partners steak tips were dried out and were supposed to be medium rare. Another one of our group ordered specefically and repeated that he wanted his fries well done. Both orders were not even close. Jimmys failed at everthing that night(Jan 30th) . Service was terrible and the food was even worse. I will never go back there again!
