Everyone raved about this place so I had to try it and I’m glad I did! Delicious donuts and great selection of beverages. All employees are very nice and welcoming. The place was clean and plenty of room to eat in.
One word: OVERRATED. I was not impressed. First, the customer service was terrible. I had never been to Kane’s before so I wanted to take my time and look at the selection. Nobody was behind me but the rude kid behind the counter acted like he was bothered and just wanted to get me out of his store. He wasn’t polite and just had a nasty frown on his face. The donuts were very expensive. Yes they were big but I really don’t want to go into a diabetic coma eating one. Hint: one donut at Kane’s is like 3 or 4 elsewhere so plan accordingly. You probably don’t need a dozen donuts. The donuts weren’t fresh even though it was only 7am. The way everyone is raving about the place I expected a lot more. The taste was very average. I’ve had better donuts at Winchels in California. I won’t be going back and can’t recommend Kane’s.
Fanastic donuts! I bought a dozen mix donuts and they weighed 4.5 pounds. Great flavor and really big.
Biggest &best donuts around coffee is a little pricy but the food is worth every penny try the cake sized coffee roll out of this world
Yesterdays news. Kanes doughnuts are very good , if they are todays. beware of the ones that are plasterd with powderd sugar or coconut though . ALOT of theese are yesterdays doughnuts dressed up to sell today . whatch out for those jelly sticks with coconut . the fresh ones will have granulated sugar on them .
Beatle9. I come from Saugus originally but moved over 30 years ago. I’ve lived in IL and FL, and NOWHERE have I ever been able to find donuts as good as Kane’s, and I doubt I ever will!! Guess where one of the first places I want to visit when I return to Saugus is?? KANES, of course!!
THE BEST DONUTS IN THE NATION!!. I just had the pleasure of going to Kanes today.I sat down and enjoyed a rich fresh cup of coffee and a jelly donut.I have never enjoyed a donut so much,it was delicious.I bought something to take home because I had guests coming over.It was a big hit everyone enjoyed the pumpkin pie and the coffee roll.I know where I will be buying my desserts for thr holidays this year.Thank you Kanes Donuts for such wonderful treats!!!!
