Very Standard. Located on Route 1, this Brazilian BBQ restaurant serves great slices of beef, pork and chicken however, the service itself was a bit off. We started off by having to get our own plates from the salad and side buffet set up in front of the kitchen. The large window gave you a great look into the restaurant’s kitchen. There is also large windows that allow you to look onto Route 1. Live performers were there singing Brazilian songs. The decor on the inside was very much like a Tex-Mex restaurant with a very slick floor. The waiters came around carrying various cuts of meat however some seemed more repetitive then others. We were even shown the dessert tray before we were done with our meals. The waitress seldom checked on us for drink refills but used dishes were promptly taken away. As far as being a buffet, the cost per person was not bad if you got really hungry. But overall, Midwest Grill in Saugus did not live up to its hype.
