  So Sad It’s Gone Down Hill…… I have been going to this place for 20 years and it has gradually gone down hill over the past ten, sadly. I picked-up my wife at Logan Airport and she said she wanted to stop here on our way home; we both agreed it was our last time once we were done eating. As you walk up to the door the carpet really tells the tale as it is completely gross and the exterior of the building is in disrepair and there are weeds growing everywhere; clearly the owners has lost interest in their business. When you walk in the carpet resembles that at the entrance (probably hasn’t been cleaned in many years). It sis pretty dark in the place for good reason.The server was very pleasant and professional and we were greeted by the older Asian woman who was clearly running the show. My wife got the Deluxe Bento Box and although it was impressive in size, the contents according to my wife were quite disappointing. She gave me her tempura shrimp (I love good authentic tempura) and it was really disgusting. It was actually soggy under the flaky exterior as if maybe it had been re-battered and fried or something). I ordered a curry chicken katsu dish and it was really sad (a 5 on a scale of 1-10). There are windows facing the road that are actually broken out and all that is there is the paper that is supposed to simply filter the light (you can really hear the cars racing by through the paper).Authentic Japanese is our favorite cuisine and we eat it quite regularly so we know what good Japanese food is. Unfortunately I suspect Sake can’t continue much longer as they have clearly lost interest in their business………
