Booked reservation here to celebrate our monthly Full Moon Dinner.Sat out on the deck overlooking the bay and got to watch the moon rise. Was simply breathtaking. Our server was Kelsie. She was great. Knew the menu when we had questions and she offered information on dishes we ordered. Super friendly and cute.Apps we ordered were: Deluxe Nachos and Beet Salad.Nachos were good. Filling. But the chili tasted canned and not home-made.Salad was nice. Fresh greens. Lots of flavor. Beets were canned, but still good. Definitely my kind of salad – lots of texture and flavors.Dishes ordered were: Clam Plate, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Steak Tips, Bacon Cheeseburger, Fish & Chips, Lobster Roll, and the Clam Bake (special).Clam Plate – typical deep-fried plate of clams and fries. Lobster Mac & Cheese – she said it was excellent, for someone who doesn’t even like mac-n-cheese. Big chunks of lobster Steak Tips – fantastic! Bacon Cheeseburger – was ordered medium rare, came out rare. Still was tasty. And large – probably 1/3 lb of meat. Fish & Chips – fish was haddock. She said it was really good. Fries looked good, flavored. Lobster Roll – so much lobster in a little hot dog bun. Suggestion: use fork first, then eat the rest. Clam Bake – 1 lb lobster & huge order of steamed clams. Linguica link was tasty, but not sure why it was on my plate. Coleslaw had pineapple in it, but that couldn’t save it (I’m not a coleslaw fan, unless it’s a vinegar base). Overall it was excellent, and $32 price is on target. I would come here again. Food and Service was above average. Family had a very enjoyable experience.
Food is ok. Not great but certainly acceptable. ProbBly more expensive than it should be. You are paying for the view.
Great view. Delicious food, but a bit pricey ($11 Ruben $22 scrod). Enjoyed it.
Probably the worse food ever eaten. Sat down service slow. We asked the waiter what was in seafood fried platter. He didn’t know had to check and still unsure but we agreed that as long as fried clams not on plate we r ok. We were told fried scallops fish shrimp. I should have realized we were getting wrong meal when he asked if we wanted broccoli and baked potato. He came out twos a later with a seafood broiled casserole. The fish was not edible the scallops half cooked and meal one of worse we ever had. Stay away
Family dinner or a night out with friends!. Great restaurant if you are looking for a place to take the family or head out with friends. The menu has a wide range of options catering to all different tastes. Looking for something quick and cheap, try the wood oven pizzas, craving fried seafood, they have the best fried clams! Looking to splurge, I would reccomend the Lobster Spaghetti or the Tenderloin. You really can’t go wrong!The staff is great… my wife and I were having a drink before dinner upstairs and they didn’t have the wine she liked by the glass but they did sell it by the bottle. Without being asked, the bartender went downstairs and got a bottle off the rack, so my wife could have a glass.
