Good place for breakfast all day. No fancy meals here but nice mom and pop joint comparable in quality to Perkins or IHOP. Good menu selection and food came out fast and was tasty. I don’t know what happened to the gentleman who wrote the first review but as of mid-August 2013 it was fine. My wife and I will likely return the next time we visit the shore.
I tried to like it. I went to Sam’s place for breakfast several times after a morning meeting in the area. Each time was worse than the last. First of all there is no excuse in this day and age for bad coffee. Sam’s coffee is terrible, weak and acrid..For breakfast I ordered the same each time: scrambled eggs, toast. home fries. pretty simple. The eggs over cooked, the toast cold, the potatoes greasy. On the last of three visits the home fries tasted rancid, like the grill wasn’t clean or they were combined with yesterdays left overs or worse. I really like to give my business to the local guys but three strikes and you’re out.YUCK
