Ordered lamb Rogan Josh, plain nan, and Pakora. The nan bread was straight out of a store bought pack, there’s no way that thing was made fresh. I have had these in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Boston, New York, and let me tell you this was poor. The Rogan Josh was salty as all hell, tasted like Pataks jarred sauce with extra spices in it, the lamb was very, very tender though, no tomatoes to be seen. The pakora was decent, the spiced onions were in a gelatinous sauce I couldn’t eat…… disappointing, and for a price tag of $26 I can’t say I’ll be back.

Love the food here. I was afraid to go to this place by reading all the negative reviews but decided to go anyway. I and my girlfriend when for a dinner on a friday night and were going to be seated near a door and upon my request i was given a table of my choice. I liked that as the first thing as i was with my girlfriend and we wanted to be bit enjoying ourselves. we ordered chicken tikka as appetizer and samosas. we both enjoyed it very much and for drinks i ordered indian mojito and my girlfriend ordered sweet new delhi which she liked very much. for the main course i love to eat spicy and ordered there chicken vindalo and loved it, not because it was spicy but it was different from any other place i tried. when i asked the server he did not know much about the dish and he requested the chef to come to the table and explained it to us why it seemed different. chef told us that the vindalo dish uses more than 10 different sprices and they prepare them on the premises and not many restaurants use the spices other restaurants only use red chilli powder and that makes the dish spicy. but this vindalo dish was spicy in different way it had a kick of spices and i got smell and taste them unlike before i only use to feel the chilli. my girlfriend ordered chicken tikka masala and she loved it, didnt even left any sauce in the dish. i was surprised. we also ordered garlic nan. I am glad that i tried this place and ignored the negative reviews. The thing that i didnt like about this place was that there was a table near us, dont know if they was indian or pakistani but they were behaving very rudely with the servers as treating them as there slaves. i didnt like that and was about to tell them but my girlfriend stopped me. some people just dont know how to behave. well our date ended with very good sweet dish cold ras malai with hot jalebee on top recommended by the server. we both loved it. i will vist this restaurant more often as we make time to try there other dishes
