Love love love this place. Went there for my wedding anniversary and was blown away. The food is delicious and well portioned. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. The chef is a whiz with compound butters and we had popcorn butter! It was unforgetable. Definitely going back.
Great food…comfort level however. My boyfriend and I happen to actually be on our way to Dali when we saw this place. I had heard great things…so we decided to try it out. The decor is beautiful, area is annoying for parking but alas this is Somerville. First, the hostess asked if we had a reservation, which we clearly did not and continued to give off a rather unwelcome attitude. The manager was kind enough to take over and find us a seating. The atmosphere is very sophisticated, it’s almost too nice for what you think it is. We felt rather uncomfortable just being there. Our waiter was very nice, a bit nervous but well informed. The food was extraordinary; small portions for the expensive price. We sat next to two very rude ladies unfortunately that made the discomfort a bit more unbearable. All in all, it is a great experience, the people are what really make it work for me. If you want to spend lots of money for delicious food; it’s worth it. Just be weary of the environment.

Must go! Wonderful experience! So much thought and expression in every dish we tried. The fried egg in the pea appetizer was a pleasant surprise. While not vegetarian, I happily feasted on a diverse selection of rich, exciting, and satiating non-meat dishes. Warm inviting atmosphere and staff, will definitely be back!
A bit drafty. Lovely, though drafty if you are seated in the first table by the door on a cold Boston night. Noisy, too. Nice service. The combination of the noise and the draft left me feeling as if the service and food would not compensate. It was good, but not raving wonderful good. The pork ravioli, for my taste, was too doughy. Three generous ravioli but the dough to innerds ration was lacking and, in general, was not the featherlight spicy filling with a lovely sauce combo that I was expecting. Also, the cod with a lobster beurre blanc was a bit of a one note rich dish. The best dish of the night was shrimp with avocado and black beans. Light, refreshing and tasty. All in all. Very good, but not probably up to the hype and the expense.
Enjoyed it thoroughly!! Service: impeccable, food: imaginative, decor: average, overall loved it!! Highly suggest it! I went with two other chefs, and this team cares deeply for the craft! GO.. too good to miss.
