I bought a NOW GROUPON to Cantina la Mexicana today and they would not let us redeem it. On top of that they were extremely rude. I agreed to pay for my meal and cancel my GROUPON. The food was pretty good.But the customer service was horrific.Which leads me to my question: Why Fail is places it’s so easy to Succeed??The food would have caused me to go back and tell people about it. However, now I will never go back and if anyone was to suggest it I would not interject about my positive thoughts on their food but rather their inability to be nice and pleasant to their customers.Shame, on this restaurant, for the inability to nail down the easiest part of operating a restaurant.

A bland restaurant experience turned intolerable when the futile attempts at karaoke started, and we ended up asking for our check before everyone finished eating.
Above average Mexican Cuisine. The owner of Cantina la Mexicana recently expanded his restaurant, opening more space for music and large groups. His wife still cooks her incomparable carnitas and tamales. There are also some more sophisticated Mexican dishes now available. They might polish up their customer service – they tend to be brusque. But it has reliably good Mexican food and a very loyal following.
