The Mount Vernon Restaurant has been a staple in East Somerville for many years. The family owned business expanded at one point to 4 restaurants and recently collapsed back to one. The claim to fame for this restaurant are the twin lobsters. These cost me $15.99 with the rewards card or email they send out. The regular cost was $19.99. The lobsters come with nothing. I added a baked potato and salad for $5. So for $20.99, I had a nice meal. They also offer a Sunday brunch which I am told is very nice. The rest of the menu is varied and it is okay dinner. The rating could be higher, but the food quality on the regular menu is just okay.
