Don’t let Ole’s slightly hooky appearance fool you. This place is bringing the best Mexican food in the city. We were just wowed last night. They also sport an enthusiastic bartender who knows his way around a tequila barrel.
Cross that street!. To be perfectly honest, I’d recommend skipping Ole and going across the street to Olecito. The marinated meats are almost, if not entirely, identical. And that’s what you’re there for, right? You’ll save cash, time, and a poorly-lit (and not in a sexy way) dining room.
Very disappointing. I went here several years ago and it was excellent. This time, the wait staff were. Harried and perfunctory, my chicken was very overdone, and in general the food was very unimpressive. What happened to this place??
Had a great dinner with tableside Guac, Sangria and several apps, just to get a feel for the menu. It was great! Cozy seating, though pretty easy on the budget. Very nice dinner.
The tacos I had were great, but the seafood tacos My husband had were fried, not good! Would’ve been so much better grilled. The service wasn’t good, but I would try it one more time just so I could try more of the entres on the menu.
