Fine French Bakery. This family-owned chain of French bakeries started in the 19th century in the city of Croix in Northern France and has finally opened a few locations in Boston. It is ineluctably charming, with elegant pastries, breakfasts, coffee and tea, and plenty of comfortable places to sit. Or you can just stop in for a box of macarons or a baguette. Service is warm and efficient.
