Great food and a great place to sit at lunch time
Don’t be fooled if the restaurant is fairly empty. Most food is take out. The chicken gaprow is really good. They add a touch of brown sugar and green peas to offset the spice.
Best rangoon. This place makes the best crab rangoon I have ever had. They also have a lot of good vegetarian dishes.
Great new Thai in the hood. Sweet Ginger just opened up in a brand new, bright and lively spot on Bow Street. I went on there on a whim the second day they were open, just to check it out. The soup was good, basic chicken and mushroom in a slightly spicy broth. The chicken skewers also tasty, nice peanut sauce. The crab rangoons were especially yummy, little pillows accompanied by a pineapple sauce. The filling was spiced with a light aromatic curry. I finished it off with fried ice cream with butterscotch sauce. The service was great, the food was great and I look forward to trying out the rest of their menu.
