The best mushroom risotto I have ever had…The staff was perfect. I was a little scared by a couple of the past reviews but I highly recommend this place. Wish I lived around here to come back.

Lobster Risotto. We decided to celebrate my daughter’s 25th b-day (12-Jul-2014) at Adolfo’s Ristorante, which was also our 1st visit. The restaurant decor is elegant with a modern American-Italian flare and rustic atmosphere. I’d consider it to be comfortably classy and welcoming. We had a lovely and very tasty dinner, which included a calamari appetizer and 3 entres (lobster risotto, mushroom linguini & chicken parmesan). The waiter, waitress & hostess were knowledgable in their wines, pairing and food, providing us with the best information to make our selection. The food was fresh, superbly prepared and on time. Adolfo’s staff was very professional, friendly and attentive. Their courtesy began at the front door / drop off and extended throughout the restaurant for our entire dinner. Helping us commentate my daughter’s b-day, they played the b-day song while she blew out her small b-day cake. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a wonderfully tasty meal (lunch, dinner or appetizers/snacks for an evening with friends).

Rustic and elegant. Lunch menu is on the smaller side but choices they have are delicious. I had the shrimp francese. Light but filling. I had the arugula salad which i broke down the ingredients and make it home on the regular. Also found an awesome new drink.. This is at least our fifth visit to Adolfos and found the most romantic corner booth for my wife and I. Unbeatable food, service, and atmosphere.

Excellent food and atmosphere. We went there for the first time on Friday for lunch. The place is lovely, nice and dark and cozy, kind of like and old speakeasy. The food was excellent, although the lunch menu was limited. We had the fried mozzarella and the stuffed mushrooms, and they were wonderful. For entrees we had a pasta bolognes and chicken parmegan and both were excellent. However, I was not happy with the non-alchoholic beer selection. Many people don’t drink and the vast majority of upscale restaurants carry a good selection of non-alcoholic beers. The only one they carry is O’Douls, which is the worst one on the market next to Coors in my opinion. They need to upgrade to Becks or St. Pauli Girl. They also had no bread–that’s like a crime in an Italian restaurant. I get that they only serve lunch on Fridays, but bread is a must with pasta. That lost them a star in my book. Our server, Amanda, was just wonderful. She was very attentive and on top of things even though she was serving the entire floor. she also recommended the lemon cake (can’t remember the name) and it was outrageously good. The tiramisu was also good, not great, but good. I went from three to four stars on this review because they serve their desserts with LOTS of whipped cream. Every restaurant should know that a healthy serving of whipped cream is a must. Most don’t.I would go back and give their dinner menu a try as I had read the dinner menu online (the lunch menu isn’t posted) and had my heart set on a couple of dishes not on the lunch menu. Overall, a really solid restaurant that adds a lot to the city of Springfield.
