So surprised by the previous negative comments posted here. We have found Nathan Bill’s owner and patrons to be welcoming and warm. The atmosphere is family friendly in the evening and the crowd in the later hours are neighborhood patrons and friends. Very warmly decorated and excellent staff. We have been working our way down the menu and have found the chefs exceptionally talented. Every selection is cooked to order and the Prime Rib on Thursdays is the BEST around!Reviews such as this site are not the venue for people with personal vendettas to vent. Save that for Facebook. True and helpful reviews only please!
I like this place. if you read the dates of the other reviews,most were during the Christmas holiday week. so yes, lots of college kids there but mostly because they were home from school and it was mini reunion week. I imagine most neighborhood bars are like that. The food is tasty. I’ve gotten soup for take out as I work in the neighborhood. the dinner I had was good as far as pub food goes, the Irish balls were delicious. I will be going back for a more substantial meal soon as their menu and specials look amazing.
Claims to be a neighborhood bar went in there on a Saturday full of college kids. Won’t be returning
Went in for their prime rib. Nothing special quality wasn’t great you can tell it was frozen prior but it was a big piece. Inside of place seems clean, bathroom is a issue really tight. Drunk college kids in there being loud and offensive during my dinner. Orders apps nothing original. Won’t be returning unless crowd gets older and good gets better
Bar scene is ok. Food isn’t anything special typical bar food. Bathroom is cramped with only 1 urinal. May return if I was invited by friends. Beers are average, tap beers overpriced. Don’t see this lasting long
Great neighborhood restaurant and bar. Nathan Bill’s is a great addition to the East Forest Park neighborhood. The food is great. The owners and staff are friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
