First, there were a ton of people waiting to eat here. Lines down the hallway and a full guest waiting area. It was a good 30 mins before we were seated on a Saturday. As I had suspected, the wait was well worth it. I ATE the caramel crunch French toast and The Ringer (I was starving!) and there was plenty of food. The family had a Belgian waffle, M&M and Cookie Dough pancakes, with sides of bacon. The potatoes in The Ringer were full of flavor although a little salty, it came with eggs and bacon. Not bad. The French toast was EVERYTHING! Two slices of crunchy, caramel-y heaven! Hubby really enjoyed his fluffy waffle. The kids devoured their pancakes (they are huge but I was able get a half order for my little kiddies to enjoy). My son’s tasted like cookie dough throughout the pancake, so it was my fav. I’m always tasting everyone else food, can’t help it!I like that they offer mimosas, and I plan to have one and something from the lunch menu when we return.
Went here the first time for a nice breakfast. I had the ringer with cookie dough pancakes. Holy wow those pancakes were big and filling. It was almost too much food but it was all delicious. The pancakes were a little too sweet and huge so I could only eat about 3/4 of one. I will definitely be back though!
NOT family friendly. Although the menu of this restaurant is fun and the food is good, the restaurant is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. There is no child’s menu but more frustrating is the fact that they have no changing table in the bathrooms. A family style restaurant that offers highchairs for toddlers (most of whom are in diapers) should have a changing table in the bathroom and a kids menu. The food is good and a reasonable value, but the staff is not friendly towards kids (they were downright rude when my toddler cried from being in a soiled diaper).
Outstanding breakfast!!!!!. Only 2 days in Boston and we tried what the Waltham Westin staff recommended. The result of amazing food is the second morning spent at the same restaurant instead of trying a different place when the purpose of our trip was sampling varied local cuisine in Boston.
Yummy. Outside of Boston, but worth the trip. If I didn’t have the caramel french toast, I would have had the El Diable omelet.
Both my bf and I loved this place! Their breakfast potatoes are to die for same with their pancakes and bacon. Deffinately a must stop place if your in Waltham.
