This place is really authentic and the service is always awesome! The food is best Thursday – SaturdayBecause it’s fresher. It’s seems like when I go on a Tuesday or Wednesday its reheated and dry and not very fresh
This is the first Mexican food I’ve had since moving to MA. The carne asada was good but the rice needs some work. Tasted like a store bought mix. Good chips and salsa. Overall a good meal.
Good food – poor service. I like this place. It’s an affordable neighborhood place that I’ve eaten at 50 times over the last 4-5 years. The grilled meats and enchiladas are both good choices. The chile relleno and salads are not. Over all those visits the service has always been slow and haphazard but obviously never so poor as to drive me away. The mariachis on Friday and Saturday are fun too – I just recommend getting there early so you can finish eating, talking and then listen for 10-15 minutes – those guys are loud.
Decent Mexican food and drink. A decent tex-mex style joint in Waltham. The restaurant feels like it is attached to the bar, and is kind of disorganized but service is pretty good. Entrees are fairly traditional and decent – though nothing will wow you. It is probably a good place to bring a large party.
