Extremely expensive. The waitress told us that people typically order three tapas AND one of the $26 entrees. That’s about $54 total per person. We left immediately.

Hip Ambiance. Great ambiance with walls opening to street seasonally…great to find such in suburbia. Average tapas. Great service, great bar! Get your sexy on!

Great night out with friends.. I recommend this place for a group of friends looking for a unique dining experience. The tapas plates are small, so order accordingly. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for larger sized portions or meals, and despite the romantic decor, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a romantic night out for two. In fact, my fiance and I only come here with a group of people and never alone together. This is more of a restuarant you enjoy for the social atmosphere, cocktails, and bite sized tasty spanish tapas to share. The empanadas, shrimp, and pork were very good, but remember these are very small (muy pequeno) portions! So if you and your party are looking for an enjoyable Spanish dining experience at a hip restuarant then you will definitely enjoy Solea. If you are looking for a satisfying and relaxing meal with your better half, I would walk down the street to Watchcity Brewery or Tempo.

Blah. We tried Solea on our date night and were really disappointed. It’s not that the food was bad, because it wasn’t, but there wasn’t anything all that good that good that we wanted to go back for. In particular, I have to say that I was VERY disappointed to see that CANNED mushroom were used for the Tostadas de Alcachofas. For $5.50 per plate, I expect to see fresh mushrooms. All in all, we didn’t feel like Solea was worth the money….
