Craft beer destination on Moody Street. Excellent destination pub for those in the western suburbs of Boston. This pub offers craft beer in both draft and bottles from quality brewers in North America and Europe. Small establishment but warm, comfortable atmosphere. Limited food menu, but includes pub classics such as beer brats, burgers, pizza, and scotch eggs; along with new twists such as hummus plate, reuben fritters, melon dog, bistro chicken, and steak tip plate. They had 18 beers on tap the evening I was there, including fine examples from Massachusetts brewers such as Jack’s Abbey, Clown Shoes, and Pretty Things. Three 6-oz. samplers may be purchased for $9 to help decide what beer(s) to really enjoy. Nice selection of bottled beer as well. For fans of Belgian beer, nice selection both on tap and in bottles. Very little mass market beer offered here; you may find in bottles Coors Light, Heineken, Corona, Stella, and Bud Light. The focus here at The Gaff is a nice selection of quality craft beer in a nice, friendly atmosphere. In addition to bar seating there are a few tables.
