Marred by bad garlic overload.. I was expecting something better than the usual pizza joint with some Italian pasta items… It didn’t happen. Gerry’s overloads everything with bad garlic. Not fresh sliced garlic, but something more likely to have come out of a bottle. Chicken Scampi pasta was overcooked to mush, and there was almost no taste other than garlic. The chicken was pretty tender though. Their pizza is only okay. A nice crust with a too sweet sauce, with too much garlic. The cheese is above average. Chicken wings are good, and their calzones are pretty good. Overall, very average, and the garlic was yucky. Why am I talking about the garlic so much? Because….. I just can’t get rid of that taste.
