Excellent, consistent food. My wife and I have been to this place a few times and have ordered a variety of entrees and appetizers. Everything we have tried has been excellent: great flavors, nice presentations. Service has always been very friendly and helpful. The scallops and the meatloaf are very good-we’d highly recommend them. Scallops can be risky, but these were absolutely perfect and were served over a delicious bed of couscous. The meatloaf was some of the most unique I’ve ever had and was full of flavor.This is a great place for good, reliable food.
Something for everybody. Comfort food is the thing at Not Your Average Joe’s. It’s not haute but it manages to be better than you’re expecting. You can bring anyone to NYA Joe’s and they’ll find something to like. It’s very popular, and can be hard to get into, especially on weekends.Try the ahi tuna wontons for an amazing treat; the seared ahi salad is great too. Pizzas are flipped in the air and baked in a stone oven. The menu changes over time to keep it interesting, but classics like the mustard-crusted chicken and chicken picatta over fettucini are always great.Take-out is always an option if the place fills up; they make it really easy.
I love there food! The service is great but make sure you call ahead on a Friday or saturday night.
I love this place. The food is consistently great and they are very accomodating if you wish to change anything. The bread and garlic dip that they bring at the beginning of the meal is wonderful. This is one of my standby favorite places.
Food is average, nothing great as such. Menu is creatively designed but descriptions at times misleads you.
Dependably good food at reasonable (but not cheap!) prices. A good standby Call ahead to reserve a table or you’ll be waiting a long time at peak times. Very popular.
