Old School but Delicious. Monte Carlo is a great place to sit, relax and enjoy a nice long meal. Not that the service is slow, it’s just that I always find myself wanting to hang around a lot longer than I would elsewhere. Great conversation in the bar, great owners and really consistent food. I had the prime rib the other day (a lunch special for that day) and it was phenomenal – cooked perfectly, a huge portion loaded with fresh veggies, great fries and a nice fresh salad – all for $10.95! In West Springfield – home of more chains that I can count – this place is a standout! The ricotta cheesecake is incredible : )

Horrid Service & Food quality. I wrote a letter to the owner and rest.mgr about the atrocious service and food quality for my party of 10. No one has had the decency to respond to me. Not only was the waitress flippant but the maitre de saw my interaction with her about the food and service and did nothing. The other rest. customers witnessed the event. Imagine having a special party planned and the whole thing going to the mess it became; no one even had the intelligence to send a manager over to talk to us. No one. Class-less operation and the food was subpar at best. Dont know what happenned over the years but this is the worst customer service and food prep my family ever had and we had frequented this establishment for decades. The customer service was zilch. They took our 300 bucks and never cared either way about our concerns. Maybe i should have encluded a self addressed stamped envelope. Right. dont waste your money if you want a memorable occassion to go from excellent to morbid in the blink of an eye. I will be more than happy to relate to as many people who will listen to me, about thier handling of a situation gone bad…. NO HANDLING of the situation gone bad. Im glad in this economy they can afford to have angry customers.
Fantastic service. First time there and we meet the owners. Awesome food. Incredibly friendly. Would dine there anytime of the year for any occasion.
We have been to this restaurant several times when we lived in Agawam always was satisfied…untl last week we took family there, we saw as we came in Prime Rib was the special $17.95, three of us ordered ii two of us asked for med rare, both got well done which we did not accept, so while two of us were enjoying their supper we had to reorder. we both asked for the Delmonico Steak which was $21.95 and my husband who was paying for the entire meal said I know you will give us that at the special price, waitress was rude and blamed it on the chef, we got our steaks about 10 minutes later and shesaid it would be at the reduced price, but when we looked at our steaks we knew why, never saw a Delmonico. 1/4 inch thick, it was like they took one steak cut it in half lengthwise, the taste was terrible too….we will never comeback if we get to Springfield, but better still the other people will pass the word to their friends!!!!!!!
