This place doesn’t look like much from the outside & if it didn’t come recommended wouldn’t have stopped but so glad we did. Went specifically for sushi and what an unbelievable variety of rolls did they offer, hard to decide. We went with the Summer, Out of Control and Mango Dancing Roll. All were artistically prepared and presented. First Asian restaurant I have dined at which served tea in a mug but there tea was very good as well. Looking over the menu they seem to offer so many options & different choices in all areas of their offered cuisines. Staff was pleasant and ambiance welcoming.
Meh…I travel a few times a month and eat sushi every time on the road. Yes I have the same skin color as colossus (x-men) due to mercury. Atmosphere is fineSmell is strong when you enter. Kinda smells like fried food probably from the hibachi grills. When they turn the fans over the grills on it is much better/less noticeable. You will smell it on your clothes when you leave. Tables are clean and not sticky. Sushi chefs were authentic and legit. Ordered 2 rolls – rainbow and Amanda – rice seemed just a bit bland and maybe a bit too moist. Rainbow was the better of the two rolls. Amanda has sliced jalapeos on top which overpowered the bland flavor of the roll. Service was great and they are very attentive. My biggest pet peeve happened at this place…very thin slices of fish on top of the rolls. Hope this helps!
Hit or miss. Consistency is a problem here. Ive had meals on one trip where the sushi was tasty, fresh and visually appealing. And then i’ve had sloppily made sushi that did not have a fresh vibrant look or taste. Ive also had the spicy soup which was excellent and brought me back a second time only to be let down by a bland bowl of liquid.
I could hardly believe how good the quality was for such a small city. These guys could move to a competitive market like SoCal and be worthy among the competition . The quality is that good.
I Love TOKYO!. I had been Tokyo several times, I really love that restaurant! The special rolls, like Hawaii roll, out of control roll, and fresh lobster roll… these rolls are very fantastic! and the shushi chefs, they always make some designs on the plates, like birds, tree, rabbits(by tomato), and cyprinoid. its’ really lovely.on the another hand, Habachi is my favor as well. the shows are incredible, and food are wonderful~~~yammy yammy~~especially, the chef John, he is a lovely man, his shows is very funny, makes everybody laughing. and food is great as well! I heard that they have something in Thai style right now, I am going to try.
The service here is awful. I’ve been waiting 20 minutes for a green salad and there are only a dozen people in here
