Evviva Cucina Worth The Visit. Saw some on line reviews for Evviva Cucina that generally praised the food including their artisnal pizzas while criticizing its service. Our curiosity won out figuring we could tolerate even terrible service in pursuit of a good meal. We were pleasantly surprised on both counts. Food was excellent and service could not have been more cordial, attentive and prompt. E.C. Is completely worth the visit and we expect to return again ASAP.Caeser salad was very good, properly made with fresh romaine although an extra spritz of lemon juice is warranted. The shrimp/lobster risotto with corn was well executed, great flavors, soft creamy texture with enough seafood to match the proportions of the rice and corn. The pappardelle with a slow braised bolognese sauce was so good that my only regret was not having been served any bread that I could have used to politely clean out the generous serving bowl. We ended with a hazelnut gelato that had superb flavor but suffered with some ice crystals detracting from its smoothness probably from being too cold in storage. The service was attentive, from a greeter holding open the door to a waitress arriving within a minute of being seated and returning every time we were ready for refills of ice water or clearing, etc. her point of sale credit card swipe meant we had our bill to us within a minute of being ready to depart. The only minor criticism is that our entrees arrived about a minute too soon as literally we just finished the salads and I would have enjoyed a slight respite before the next course, but again that was a very minor issue.Well prepared food, superb flavors, generous but appropriate portions, obviously fresh ingredients with attentive service. This place is well worth a visit. Price value is extremely reasonable for the quality

First time here, sitting at the bar right now watching 3 huge flat screen TVs.Ordered the rosemary chicken wings with taziki sauce. They had great flavor, but could have been a lot crispier in my opinion. No one likes floppy chicken skin. Also ordered the fried green tomato BLT. Came with chips which are very good. The BLT is great. Grilled bread, but not to hard where it would cut your mouth up. Good flavor, good sandwich.Clean bathroom means clean kitchen in my book.Good/Friendly service. 3.5 swords

Service is great – lots of servers, all willing to help. It’s a nice change in attitude.Salads are great. Thin crust, wood fired pizza is just right. Give it a shot – you won’t regret it.

Been here twice! First time with friends, second time with family (wife and two kids). Both times was very good. Service is amazing. We sat at bar both times because the wait was long, but the bar staff really did well.

Had the lobster risotto and porcini bolognese and both were excellent. Chelsea, our server, was wonderful and made great menu recommendations. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu.

Great New options. Great service, a very comfortable and inviting dining area, and reasonable prices. All good things. Great food like crisp pizzas from a brick oven, Polenta and shrimp ‘grits’ and delectable, smooth, complex spinach cannelloni. What makes Evivia stand out. Good food and good music, served well, and from nearby sources. Eviva Cucina is a great Italian option in a relatively Chain-dominated area.
