Save your money!!! Upon being seated, we looked around and saw two abandoned dim sum carts and no wait staff (12:30 pm). Finally a cart came by with limited selection. During the entire service they replenished items with the same limited fare. One of my pork dishes tasted like seafood ( which I hate) and rendered it un-eatable for me.14 Jul, 2012Walked in to find not one but TWO abandoned dim sum carts. Service was none existent. Choice of about 10 items which were replenished but not changed. Pork item tasted like it had been fried with shrimp. Problem for non seafood lovers. Bland. big YUCK for me.

Good dimsum menu & cost. We have been back here 4x or more for their Dim sum, have been looking quite some time for a more authentic dim sum taste in Mass area, so far this has delivered. Steamed pork buns ( soft white buns with roast pork filling) & pork shau mai are delicious. Just be careful that you keep tab of what is being stamped in your dim sum card & the total cost of your bill. We were grossly overcharged the second time we ate here, if not for my sister taking notice of a discrepancy with total bill & the # of items stamped in our dim sum card, waitress was apologetic and we just ordered items for takeout from what was overcharged on our bill)

Unpleasant experience. We wouldn’t go back here anyway because we weren’t impressed with their food, but after the experience we’ve got at the end – we will never go back for sure.We had a coupon from Eversave for that place. We wanted Dim Sum, but it was not covered by coupon, so no problem, we ordered from the regular menu. When it was a time to pay we presented a iPhone Apps coupon as we always do in absolutely every restaurants and stores… just to figure out that they have no idea what to do with it and only except coupons printed on paper. Common… it is 2012 and we live in MA! They suggested us to go and look for a printer in the nearest stores since they don’t have their own printer(and of cause everything around them were closed) or pay the whole price and come again tomorrow to use our coupon since it expires in 2 days. So we end up ordering not what we wanted and after long conversation with a manager, paying extra $20 for it, because she refused to use a bar code number from iPhone apps. If you can’t screen it, just write it down, like every other place does. People don’t print and carry with them paper coupons the size of 11 format any more. It’s inconvenient and plus… aren’t we saving trees and going green?I go to the restaurants very often, also I asked my friends and it looks like China Pearl is the only resonant in Boston area which doesn’t work with smart phones coupons. Would be nice if they would at list suggest free dessert or something, but they behaved like it was totally our fault

Not the best, but still very good. The General Gau’s dinner special is the best value in town! 2 beef teriyaki, an egg roll, pork fried rice and General Gau’s chicken for 8.99?! Best thing ever! And they deliver all the way across town?! love this restaurant! And their Mai Thai’s are really good too!!!

Great Chinese food. One of the best egg rolls around. Bar area is noisy but workers are firiendly and food is always good.

Amazing general gaus chicken and very good fried rice and beef teryaki however stay away from the Mongolian beef. You can come over my house and I will boil you some beef and let it soak in red dye and you will probably enjoy it more.

Awesome Dim Sum in the ‘burbs!. This place sort of looks like a run down Forbidden City from the outside, but walking through the front doors you realize how beautiful it might have once been. Now, I’m by no means a dim sum expert – this was only my second dim sum experience – but I loved it. I thought the selection was great. Many of the waiters and waitresses spoke pretty good English so they could answer my questions about what I was eating, the food was delicious, parking was super easy with a big lot out back and best of all, its only about 10 minutes away from my house! I will most definitely be back!
