  Happy that they are able to create such a tasty burger very quickly. It does remind me of Shake Shack but much better. Here, I get the option of frappes, ice cream and other sandwiches that look great. The South End is pretty delicious. Has WUSauce, Honey Mustard and fried perfectly. Been here 3x, going back many more.

  Theres a new burger in town (Woburn that is) and its nameis, Wu. WuBurger opened on Main St. Sept 8th, convenientlyclose to I-95. The Retro, white and red colored dcor affords a clean, familyfriendly atmosphere. Orders are taken from a counter on the opposite side ofwhere the food comes from. The menufeatures a moderate selection of burger toppings in three different groups, complementaryto just around a dollar. You can get double or single patties. They also haveother types of sandwiches involving roast beef, turkey and vegan choices. Ifdogs are your thing, they offer a variety of ways to enjoy Nathans Famous. Theowners are hands on and friendly. After a brief chat, I promised to try theirfried chicken sandwich which they are very proud of on my next visit. I passedon the frozen waffle fries and opted for the scratch made rings to accompany mydouble Wu burger which comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato and Wu sauce. Thesauted onions, mushrooms and bacon were extra. The food was served in a timelyfashion and on a familiar silver tray that I could not help but comment on,thinking that if I flipped it over, itmight say property of, (take a guess).The food looked very appetizing and mademy mouth water. I wasnt disappointed.The generously seasoned onion rings were not greasy and if anything, a bit toocrunchy. My burger was very satisfying. Like the rings, there was no shortageof seasonings and the freshness of the toppings, crispy bacon on a Martins Potato roll were a nice complement tothe meat which the owners take seriously. The two guys I spoke to knew theirstuff and like me, have embarked on many a-road-trip in search of the perfectburger. The Wu sauce had a nice original flavor that did not overwhelm the essenceof the meat. Overall, I found the burgers above average. I reserve words likeexcellent or outstanding for those rare times where a wow factor occurs on thevery first bite. It doesnt happen often but when it does its better than sex.Hey Im over 50; a good burger lasts a lot longer than I can. They also have asubstantial ice cream bar that I believe is a holdover from the establishmentsformer owners. So there you have it, for what my opinions worth, which isprobably less than the price of the onions and mushrooms I had on my burger. Adecent place with a friendly and attentive staff serving food with pride and Wusauce.
