The restaurant Holi is one of the best Indian restaurants in the Boston area. Zaika is a spin-off owned by the same business. The menu is almost identical but the small dining room is cramped in comparison (not that the ambience at Holi is what draws the crowds!). As noted the menu is essentially the same as Holi and I think the quality is the same too. This is not dumbed down Americanized Indian cooking and it isnt street food either. The sauces are very flavorful and they will adjust spiciness to your liking. Dont order hot unless you are Indian. Bottom line: excellent food. They do a big takeout business too.
Not a nice people to talk. The so called manager even dont have manners on how to talk to customers. We came 4 adults and 2 (3 year) kids. And he added tip/service fee because we were total 6. Upon asking for explanation to manager, he responded so angrily that entire restaurant was looking at us as if we were running without paying.No manners to people in this restaurant. I gave 1 star because They provided food when I was hungry. Otherwise I would have gave 0 rating.

The restaurant’s name actually means Good Food. This is one of two restaurants. The other place is called Holi and is in Bedford, MA.This little restaurant sets up a buffet at lunch time with many hot items and cold items. The cost is $10.99. The selection today had some old favorites as well as some new dishes I have never tried. The food was very tasty and well seasoned. The place could be friendlier, but they were also very professional. They took the time to answer many questions. They kept attending to the food with a goal to keep things evenly heated and looking good.
