Great food, service and prices & BYOB. One of my favorites out of hundreds of restaurants I have frequented since I moved here two years ago. Never disappoints.
Great Food, slow service, poor wait staff.. After we ordered, it took over an hour to be served our selections, once we received our meals, they were however excellent in flavor. During our wait, we were uncomfortably cold at our February visit. The couple next to us put on their winter jackets as they were also uncomfortable, (we left our jackets in the car thinking that we should expect comfortable temperatures) Our waitress asked management twice to have the heat increased which finally occurred about the time our meals were served. Our beverage glasses were empty most of the hour that we waited for our entrees. Our server was aware that our wait was long and apologized more than once for our wait while we shivered from the cold. When finally served, we consumed our meal in 15 minutes, (because we were cold), paid our bill and headed for our car for some heat. Too bad, because the place is endearing in decor, the chef knows how to prepare a meal, but if it takes an unreasonably long time in an environment that is uncomfortable, why should a patron return? We will seek another quaint establishment that can keep the thermostat at a comfortable level and where the wait staff can keep our beverage glasses full while we await our main course.
We really enjoyed this tomantic cafe! Fresh and delicious food and byob!19 Dec, 2011Came here after a few freinds recommened it to me and Im not in the least bit disapointed. The staff is fast and friendly! The Menue offers Italian, Middle Eastern and American Food and the prices are very reasonable. I had the baba ganoush for an appetizer and it was by far the best ive ever had, so flavorful and fresh! I chose the baby lamb chops as my entree (recommended by the waitress) words cant describe how tender and delicious it was. My friend had the Haddock special and she really enjoyed it. We werent able to save room for dessert because of the large portions but it was tempting! The atmosphere is very welcoming and casual but tastefully decorated. The big open windows made me feel like I was in providence and I enjoyed the view of june street. Like this place was recommened to me I recommened it to all! Dont forget its BYOB
