Nom, nom, nom….. The fabulously sinful delectable pastries, cookie, cakes are a wonderful find in Worcester’s Tatnuck Square. The ingredients are the finest resulting in THE best choices for diet deviation in the city! The atmosphere is modern and casual. Great place to catch up and share a cup of coffee or cocoa this holiday season. A welcome break from holiday hustle and bustle. Stop and order for the holidays and have a tasty nosh at the same time…win win!

The Most Beautiful Wedding Cakes and Excellent Service. I decided to use On the Rise Bakery in Worcester, Massachusetts for my wedding cake. My wedding was in October of 2010 at the Harvard Club in Boston. The cake not only looked beautiful but tasted delicious as well. Betty Casey, the owner, took the time to meet with me to discuss flavors and design. She paid great attention to the little details and made choosing a flavor and creating a design for the cake so enjoyable and fun. Our meetings were never rushed and it was great that the owner is the person you deal with, as well as the only person making the cake. I highly recommend On the Rise Bakery to anyone getting married who would like a beautiful, fabulous tasting wedding cake.

Amazing Experience!. On the Rise has a wonderful atmosphere, with pastries, coffee, tea, and a small menu of paninis available. The owner is very friendly and helpful and informed me that she plans to expand her sandwich menu in the next couple of months.I ordered the chicken and pesto panini and it is one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had! I would even rate this panini above Panera’s paninis. The bread was very crispy and had a great crunch. The pesto was freshly made on site and the chicken tasted fresh and not too dry. I had to wait 15-20 minutes for the panini, but it was worth the wait and I was informed of the wait ahead of time, so I did not mind.I also ordered an iced chai. The owner informed me that she uses milk from a local farm in MA, I forget which town. Oregan chai mix was used in the iced chai.I also ordered a Blondie, which was dense and sugary. I have bought pastries from this bakery in the past as well, and I’ve been delighted with all of them.
