Excellent Food, But Pricey. They have very good steak here. I also have enjoyed the wine selection. I’m not much of an expert, but I like the recommendations I’ve had. It is pricey, but definitely not out of line for the quality.
Disappointed. Having eaten at the Sole Proprietor several times and being a fan I was disappointed with my meal at 111 Chop House. The steak was overcooked and improperly seasoned, the quality of the beef also seamed poor. We ordered several of the family style sides which were also forgettable. I had one bite of the Crme Brule for desert as it was inedible. Over $400.00 for four people and none of us left satisfied. Take the drive into Boston for Morton’s or Umbria Prime if you want a good steak.
