Groupon. Do not buy a groupon for this restaurant, they are ridiculous. Had a family meal for my moms 5th anniversary of her passing and we had to deal with this crap that we could not use more then I grouping per tanble. We had 4 tabs and they would not budge . Never again overpriced breakfast food!
Not recommended! Screwed up…. Not recommended!Screwed up my wifes order! Did fix it but my meal was almost gone by the time she got her meal back! Waitress ran the wrong bill on our debit card. Ended up getting double charged. Was corrected after I called my bank. I called restaurant. The manager didnt seem to think it was that big of a deal! Not even an apology! I emailed the restaurant letting them know what happened. The following is a copy of my email to him and then his response to my email :Hi,Visited your restaurant tonight for the first time… Not a good experience! First waitress (or cook) messed up the wife’s order. Next the bill came… Waitress swiped our card for the wrong bill… Then tried to re run the card for our actually bill. The card was then declined because there was not enough money in the account to cover both bills. So she brought the card back together table and just said it wouldn’t go through and she would need a different card. So I then have her my card. She ran that for the right bill. ( this was all verified by my bank on the phone after we left) so we now have two bills for two different amounts on hold from two different accounts because of a waitresses mistake!! And after me calling and speaking to the manager I did not feel as though anything was resolved or that she even saw if as being a very big deal. I’ll write a review for you on yelp, and the wife will review you on Facebook. Thus situation was handled Very poorly in our opinion!The following is Tom (the owners) respond:Scott I normally respond to customer complaints & try to rectify and or put a positive spin on a negative situation. In this situation, because of your sophomoric attitude & behavior, I’m not going to not respond. Good People + Great Food = Happy Me!!! Ate here this evening and it was a great food experience!!! Love all the food we had (Buffalo Chicken Bites, Scallops Butta & Penne al Forna) and can’t wait to go back, esp since its only across the street from my house!!!
My first visit to peppercorns was last weekend, and it was fantastic! Even though it was busy, our server made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food came out hot and was delicious, the beer was to die for… But i feel the best part ( besides the service) was the dessert. My boyfriend and I picked the cheesecake roulade which was some cinnamon fried cheesecake thing, and my god was it good. I will definately be returning to this spot. Whether it be for food or drinks, peppercorns has won my heart.
I just tried this restaurant on friday night. I had never been here before and was happy to see that it was quite busy. My server was Chelsea who was very informative about the beer that they brew on site. I enjoyed a pumpkin ale which was to die for. My server was very helpful as I didn’t know where to begin on the menu. She recommended fontina chicken which had a lemon cream sauce and was served with pasta. The portion was huge and prices reasonable. I will definitely be back! There was so many things I cannot wait to try!
About 12 of my friends and I came in the other nite a were waited on by Amy. She is the perfect server. So positive and funny! She offered us a party platter full of a diverse selection of appetizers which were delicious. We will all definitely be coming back!
