The most popular Chinese restaurant in Worcester and even in boston. It serves the most authentic Chinese food (as told by my Chinese friends). I wouldn’t have given this place a visit, had it not been on my friend’s insistence. 2 of my friends and I ordered for 5 dishes. The names are too difficult for me to remember :p but I remember liking the fried dumplings and the flat pizza bread slice kinda thing the most (since both tasted very similar to Indian food). The other dishes which I tried ( a cold chicken dish,a spring onion, shallots and potato dish and the dessert which was a soup) really fascinated me. I am no expert in Chinese dishes hence can’t really comment on the fact as to how authentically and properly the dishes had been prepared, but flavour wise, all the dishes tasted really unique. The chicken was succulent and soft, the dessert was portion wise big enough to be shared with 3 people. Best place to try out authentic Chinese food in Worcester!
Probably Worcester’s best Chinese restaurant, and not because it’s the only true Sichuan style in the city– but it helps. I like all styles and all levels of authenticity, as long as they execute. Most don’t; this does. Food comes out quickly and it shows care and depth of flavor. Spice levels are noticeably lower than the pepper icons in the menu, but overall flavor does not disappoint. It’s not heavy and it’s not reliant on garlic and sugar. Best enjoyed in large groups, as I did today on my second visit. There will be more. pigtrip.net
