I went there expecting a lot, based on the reviews. On the plus side, the service was very nice. I ordered BBQ chicken. The skin was soggy and covered in a BBQ sauce that I swear could have been KC Masterpiece. No smoky flavor to the meat at all. Very disappointed.
Excellent. Fabulous food and outstanding service. Samantha made our large group feel that she was glad we were there. She saw to our every need, providing set ups and making sure everyone was satisfied. Outstanding brisket and pulled pork. Relaxing, casual outdoor dining. Don’t miss this jewel.
Favorite stop for a Friday night family meal. This is a marvelous little family restaurant. Family run- I have never yet seen a patron who was dissatisfied with either the friendly service or great Ribs, chicken or Pulled pork. In the summer especially , sitting outside under an umbrella with a BYOB beer, and enjoying a meal is a marvelous way to spend a Friday or Saturday night dinner. The only negative I can think of is the serious parkin gconstraint in the winter when street parking is limited. The folks at WestSide get two thumbs up in my book!!
I just got done wiping my finger from my meal and…. Let me start by saying my two favorite places in the USA are Texas and the Carolina’s. Both of which ive spent a lot of time and or resided , and both huge BBQ hotspots! So I’ve spent a decent amount of time(and gas) trying to try as much BBQ New England has to offer. So, how was Westside BBQ? It was great!! Tender juicy ribs ,tacos are killer filled with meat! Not a bad BBQ sauce either. However it was a little to refined to be considered a smokehouse BBQ joint. If your in the area def give it a go! If your a big BBQ guy/gal you may find yourself asking how they got away from the roots of the almighty BBQ!
Its a great restaurant for the whole family. Decently priced with a great small atmosphere. Very clean and the food was delicious. The ribs had a great smoked taste to them.
There’s a liquor store next door08 Jul, 2010Good ribs and wings pulled pork ok service was good waitress was thoughtful enough to bring blue cheese extra napkins and wet wipes. Just sit away from the building unless u want to get friendly with the tenants upstairs. I’d go back
