WONDERFUL. Went to Idgys yesterday for lunch. I have celiac/gluten intolerance. My husband does not. Lunch, panninis were delicious. When I realized I could have a taste of my husbands food for the first time since being diagnosed several years ago I was brought to tears. The old was wonderful. My husband said it was quite good. Bought several goodies. Will be back.
EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE!! WE’LL BE BACK. MY FAMILY AND I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!
WOW!!. I am from Maryland, struggle to find gluten free menus, and rarely enjoy eating out. Today I experienced nirvana. Constantly on the look out for gluten free items, I found IDGY’s in South Yarmouth and enjoyed an incredible lunch without worry or concern. I was able to order anything without having to ask about gluten. I even had a cinamon bun (for the first time in years) that was also diary free. I asked the wonderful lady that recomended my lunch about her other favorites. I left with a slice of quiche for dinner, a key lime cupcake for dessert and the following favorites of the lovely lady: Chocolate Chip and almond cookies, Russian tea cakes, pumpkin&banana nut bread, and a peanut butter chocolate bar. I look forward to my English muffin for breakfast. You will love the variety and quality of this delicious new fav of mine!
Freedom to Diner GF (most soy-free too). We did a lot of research prior to our trip to Boston & Nantucket due to gluten/soy/dairy allergies so when we came upon this place, we decided it must be added to the list. Thankfully, most of their foods are soy-free as well as gluten free – yeah!!!! (Beware – their sandwich bread has dairy but they are willing to substitute dairy free panini bread)IDGY’s is a small sandwich shop housed in a strip mall approx 8 min from the Nantucket ferry so we went to IDGY’s first to pick-up lunch and then hopped on the ferry. My son loved having the freedom to choose and to have a kids’ meal! I had an excellent mushroom panini! Yummmmmm! Would highly recommend. My son had cheese pizza with light cheese. It was okay and we definitely ate every bite, but sauce and crust weren’t quite as good as I had hoped. My hubby wanted the beef stroganoff but they were sold out – bummer! Loved all the selection and everything I saw in the restaurant looked delicious! Thank you for making us such a memorable meal! My son still talks about it today.
Completely Gluten-free (and completely delicious). Finally, a completely gluten-free restaurant! I’ve only had a few things so far, having just discovered this place, but all are delicious. Panini’s are great, the flatbread is so tasty! They have breakfast available all day too! Staff is very friendly, and I never have to worry about cross-contamination! Can’t wait to try more!
Awesome family gluten free food. Thanks so much for a great pre-movie feast and treats for the show as well. All yummy and a hit with the whole family. Thanks so much!! fabulous dining for gluten free or food sensitive families. We had a great stuffed quesadilla with a yummy and crisp gf tortilla, a roast beef sandwich on homemade fresh- soft- gluten free bread, two kids had pasta – one with yummy and huge chicken parm (yes gf too) and one with grilled chicken. And the vegan among us had a yummy stir fry and a fabulous wrap made with a flaxseed gf wrap filled with grilled veggies. And make sure to leave room for dessert. Wow, the case is filled with carrot cake, many brownie type layered desserts, pies by special order (apple is sugar free), cookies, bagels, scones and more. Kids couldn’t stop looking at the case. Only complaint is is closes at 6pm, so get there by 5:30 if you want dinner. Very casual counter service with friendly server. Thanks a million!!!!! we will be back and probably fill our car with special orders on our way out of town too!!!!
Delicious!. Everything was wonderful. The deserts were so fabulous you would never know they were made without gluten. Healthy dining with great flavor!
