Traveling in Cape Cod I was searching for good lobster roll and Seafood Sam’s was my first stop. There was a line out the door so I quickly assumed the food was going to be really good. It was! The line moved quickly to a counter where you place your order, after that you are given a nifty lobster pager that notifies you when your order is ready. In the mean time you seat yourself, not a problem even on a busy holiday week night. The restaurant is large with plenty of tables. There is also outside dining available. They say they are known for their onion rings and fried lobster and shrimp. On this occasion I ordered the lobster dinner salad that comes with french fries and coleslaw. We also ordered the Jumbo lobster roll and lobster bisque. All of which was Excellent! There is plenty of parking available and a children’s menu. If you are in a hurry you can phone order & pick up. Now its time to choose the best clam chowder.Seafood Sam’s is good seafood at a good price. Honestly, a family of five can pay 75$! Which is pretty good. My family seemed to enjoy their food. One thing though, the clam chowder is horrible. Its extremely watery and lacks the actual clams. My family rated it a solid 4/10. Other than that its a good place to stop by.
It’s OK. I’ve been to Sam’s a few times, and usually it has been very good. I noticed this year they closed the Harwich place, and that they are closing in November for a break (I thought they were year round).The lobster roll was short on amount, though the Lobster salad was about a 4 out of 5. The Fish sandwich was so so. A bit dry, roll was a little gummy. Anywhere else, peolple would probably love it, but on the Cape, you can do a lot better.
