Well… it’s not awful. We’ve actually enjoyed this place and have eaten there several times. However, like the previous poster stated, it is definitely american, not mexican. There is no spice or flavor to the food — the chicken tacos are plain chicken (in other words, not seasoned at all). So again, not awful, but if you are looking for authentic mexican, you’ll need to find somewhere else (and the family that owns this is hispanic so I’m assuming they are dumbing it down for who they think their clientele is). Then tonight since we’d used all our salsa with the chips, we asked for extra salsa to flavor up our bland tacos and turns out they charged us an extra .99 (because extra chips & salsa is a charge and it didn’t matter that we didn’t get extra chips). They also charged us extra for a refill on ice tea. These are enough to keep us from going back — or at least will not be on the top of our list. Its also very odd that they have different charges if you get flour vs corn vs fried shells for the tacos. Portions are decent size fortunately.

Canned version of Mexican. I don’t ever write reviews, I just review the reviews. So to get me to write something, takes a lot.My husband and I decided to try a new Mexican restaurant in Adrian. We saw Senorita’s, so we talked about going. Tonight was the night. Nowhere near what we expected. This is definitely a place to go if you want the ‘American’ version of Mexican dinner. The cook wasn’t even Mexican! We both ordered a burrito. They do give generous portions, I will give them that. First, we asked for an appetizer of queso and chorizo dip we usually get from other authentic Mexican restaurants. She came with nacho cheese dip. Ummmmm…. ok. When I asked her about the queso and chorizo dip, she had no idea what I was talking about. She asked me if I meant gravy. NO!!!! The sour cream they give you is in little packets. The atmosphere is that of a hotdog joint. I probably could have saved my $30 for the two meals and the nacho cheese dip and gone to Speedway gas station and got a better version of Mexican there. Never never never will I return.

Good Mexican Food. Pretty good mexican food. The chimichanga is massive! The pile of tortilla chips under the heat lamps in the dining area is a little weird, though.
