A Follow Up To The Bad Food. They Charged Us $1 To Make The Dish Spicy. Unbelievable Major FAIL!!!!!!13 Oct, 2013Bad Food. Don’t Waste Your Time. Not Tasty Very Bland Food And Came Out Cold. Pasta Over Cooked. FAIL!!!!

No good, don’t bother. Cold food and we paid extra for gluten free pasta! Watery noodles on one dish. Spicy eggplant wasn’t and it tasted like canned tomatoes. Tasteless meat sauce and cheap powdered Parmesan out of a plastic tub. All for about $8/$9 per person. Small portions. Crappy waitress and in general a crappy experience. Don’t eat here, it is not a representative Ann Arbor restaurant. The chains like Macaroni Grill are better and that is saying something!

Not impressed. Went there with my wife during a visit to the Kerrytown Market shops. Sat at the bar for a nice glass of wine. We ordered the Sangiovese which they had by the glass and it was very good. But then we got a surprise when we ordered foccacia off the appetizer menu. I was expecting these great little slices of fresh crusty Italian bread with olive oil on it and fresh basil and fresh diced roma tomatoes. Here’s what we got – two slices of regular bread (like for a sandwich) with some tomato sauce on it and then covered with a thin slice of melted mozzarella cheese. It was like the stuff that I made at home for myself when I was a kid with the toaster oven. I got the impression that the waiter went in the kitchen and heard that the good ingredients were not available so just bring out a slice of bread with sauce and melted cheese on it. I won’t be running back.

Needs to be overhauled…nothing that we ordered was anything special. Pizza was oily and toppings seemed less than fresh.

Poor service, too pricey. My boyfriend and I stopped into this restaurant and were not impressed. Our server did not come to our table until 10 minutes after we sat down. She did not refill drinks in a reasonable amount of time. (She even went to refill my boyfriend’s coke and took the glass away, never returning with it until we said something.) The mushrooms in wine sauce were great, but there could have been more of the appetizer for the price. We ordered the eggplant parmesan, which tasted great, but for about $12, it should have come with some spaghetti or some kind of pasta. The bread that came with the meal was cold, and it would taste better hot. Also, the olive oil could use some spices in it.

Pretty good, could be better. They serve cold bread before the meal, which would be much better if it were hot and fresh. The entree’s are a good size and very flavorful. Ambiance gets about an 8/10. I would eat there again
