Two restaurants a year apart. My impression of the food in this place a year ago- michelin one star, it boasts some rare regional specialties from taiwan- such as the basil beef dish. To my dismay, I noticed that over the last 12 months, the quality of the food has steadily declined. I am not sure if the same chef is still cooking in the back? Today i walked in for a bowl of beef noodle soup, it was simply AWFUL! The first sip of the soup was like plain tap water. I was not done with neither appetizer nor main entree before the check was brought to my table, and the store was almost empty. So i did not bother to order a bubble tea- inconsiderate guest service. I give it a michelin MINUS three stars for a) rude service, b) inconsistency in food quality, c) over priced entries. There are plenty better ways to spend 10 dollars on a lunch in ann arbor. AVOID AT ALL COST!
