I came here for an event gathering, which had a pre-fix menu. Still, many of their selections were quite filling and were more than enough for the table. To start, we had some pickled vegetables, salad, croquettes, and an assorted cheese plates with onion jam. The pickled vegetables were okay (though could be more pickled), but the salad was fragrant with watermelon and oranges, the salad topped with a tasty crumble. The cheese croquettes were quite tasty and filling, and the cheese was also appetizing. Next, we sampled a charcuterie plate with cured ham (which people enjoyed) and fried calamari, which was fresh and perfectly crisp. The roasted brussel sprouts were incredibly tasty and slightly sweetened from the roasted apples it was cooked with. The paella was so so, and unfortunately I thought the the rice lacked much seasoning and flavor. The fresh prawns, mussels, and octopus was cooked nicely, but the broth in which it all was cooked in was lacking. However, I still enjoyed the dinner, and the ambiance made for a positive dining experience.

One of the best restaurants in A2. Great variety, lots of options, cool atmosphere, great bar area, excellent use of space both up and down. The food is outstanding, the servers are knowledgable and friendly, and the space is cool. One of the must eats in the city!

This place is fabulous. Great food, great service , great ambience — Aventura bursts onto the Ann Arbor foodies Hot List. A little loud for quiet conversation and avoid the tiny mussels dish. But otherwise — preemo!

This place is totally amazing, and I’m sure the food will be even better once it opens.
