Amazing home cooking!. Great hidden gem on Ann Arbor’s NE side that has some of the best healthy comfort food I’ve found. I love that there menu is seasonal and changes every day, everything is just very fresh. Lentil soup is super popular (one of the best in town), lamb shank super yummy, and lots of great vegetable dishes. I think the negative reviews are pretty misleading – Ayse’s Cafe has Turkish home cooking, not what you would get in your typical kebab shop and definitely not typical Mid East food (which is also yummy, but just different) . Give it a try! Staff are charming and it is very laid back.
Amazing, amazing, amazing. Great Turkish home cooking which strikes me as very authentic and affordable. Great service. Love the different eggplant dishes and personal atmosphere.
Good food, yes. Good Turkish food? No! Service is good. But the taste is not as good as even a below average place in Turkey. This is rather an arabic restaurant… The food is similar to that!
Be prepared to pay an arm and a leg. not worth price at all
