When we showed up I asked the waiter if it was busy and they said they were at 1/2 capacity all morningAside from an inability to schedule reservations the food was good. Kids spilt a large French toast order and I had a nice blt with an eggSolid food. A bit expensive but a solid choice

The most rude waitress I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been to Cafe Felix several times. Typically it’s a decent experience — nothing that stands out too much, but good enough food and atmosphere.Last fall, I got brunch with two of my friends there. I recommended it and made reservations, as I live in Ann Arbor and heard their breakfast buffet was good. I opted for the buffet (which was actually very good), and one of my friends tried the Bloody Mary bar (and had good things to say about that, too). I was just starting to think I had sold the place short in the past and that I should dine here more often when our waitress quickly made our experience one we’d never want to repeat.I had not caught up with my friends in quite some time, so we stayed for a while — perhaps an hour and a half at most. Over the course of our stay, we all ordered breakfast and a couple drinks each. Our waitress brought our bill strangely early, and we actually had difficulty flagging her down to order another drink — which she almost seemed put out by. She quickly brought us an updated bill, and we felt she was rushing us. Shortly after, she came over and pretty bluntly told us that she needed us to leave since it was a busy morning. It was a weekend morning, but there was little to no wait — perhaps one party of four was waiting for a table at the time we left. Neither of my friends or I have ever been treated so rudely by waitstaff. Looking back, I should have asked to speak with a manager, but we were all so shocked and insulted that we just got up and left. I don’t know if I will ever return to Cafe Felix due to this awful experience, and both of my friends told me that they never will either.
Quiche and meats at brunch were cold.only the ravioli was warm. Plates cleared slowly but server was pleasant. A very dissapointing experience. Will not go again
Excellent Croissants. Excellent croissants, good atmosphere. My salmon crepe is not tasty at all, but just the croissants are enough to warrant my visit in the future.
Amazing experience!. Ate at Cafe Felix last night and could not have had a better experience. The food was the best I’ve had in Ann Arbor. They have an amazing new chef and the specials were very creative and delicious. The service was very attentive. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table and they were equally delicious! Can’t wait to return.
Went to Cafe Felix for breakfast with my aunts. I had the felix scramble. It was delicious. Scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cheese plus a side of hashbrowns and three thick slices of bacon. So much food and the price was great! My aunt had the salmon croquettes. I tried them, and they were delicious as well. The atmosphere was really nice too. I felt like I was in France 🙂
