Best Chinese Food in Michigan. Wait…make that best Chinese food, period. And they also serve Vietnamese dishes like pho; as I told my eating companions, the pho here is like a warm hug in a bowl on a frosty fall game day in Ann Arbor.
Very good food. I am never disappointed by the almond chicken. Want to try more of the menu but that dish is perfect.
Another vote for best Chinese food in Ann Arbor. Service is fast, friendly, and prices are reasonable. Has a university feel due to its close proximity to campus. My favorites are the Yu Shan Chicken or Orange Chicken. Soups are all good too. Yum!
Famous chef, incredible food!. Incredible. My favorite Chinese place in the country. As noted on the many signs when you walk in, the chef has won some great awards. Doesn’t matter though, the food speaks for itself. I took 8 people from out of state here one night and everyone loved it. The crab cheese are amazing. The egg rolls are perfect. And my favorite dishes are the kung pao chicken and the sesame chicken. A little more money that some of the smaller Chinese places in Ann Arbor, but worth it for a great meal!
Best Chinese Food in A2!. This place might not look appealing to everyone, but trust me, you should try it! It’s always packed, so carry-out might work better for some people. The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the chef has won multiple awards.The hot and sour soup is by far the best in town and the sauce for their fried dumplings is perfect!
4/5 stars. The service is usually good and the food is normally excellent. There is normally a small number of customers inside. The food has a great variety of spicyness. I highly reccomend their general tsos chicken. They don’t have much for vegetarian dishes though. I really like China Gate as an authentic Chinese restaurant. Yes, I am chinese so I know what I am talking about. And I am 11 too. Thank you for reading my review.
