This is a place offering cheery service, hip music overhead, and an alternative to regular Indian food. I ordered the samosas and chicken tikka. The samosas were decent standard ones, crispy, medium sized, and served with the customary two sauces, tamarind and cilantro. The tikka was decent, if unexciting. Mostly a vegetable stew with a few chunks of chicken thrown in, it was tasty enough. Next time I would probably order one of their street food specialties, rather than a dish imitating one that a regular restaurant would do better. Lastly, I would add that my $18 tab was more than it should have been. Granted, to my order I added a can of diet soda (no fountain drinks >:-/ ), a coconut water drink, and a lassi. Still, a ten dollar up charge for soft drinks seems like a cash grab. The place is worth a try, however. Just order their specialties and drink water with your meal.
