I made a spontaneous dinner visit here and got a wholesome and satisfactory meal but I doubt I’ll return for a bite. The foods supposedly healthy: it has the simplicity of Indian home cooking in terms of flavourful tastes, presentation and vegetables used. The way the owner charges (by weight with rotis being extra) makes it an expensive meal if you really want to sample and enjoy the buffet. Since one pays before eating there’s no knowing what you’ll like taste wise when you plate it. It would do better if the service was a usual fixed price buffet even if charging higher than present rate and includes limited rotis.
Good Vegan Food. This place is a unique concept where you actually pay for food by weight. The food is available to choose in a buffett setting. I was amazed by the wide variety of vegetarian food. My only gripe was that there was hardly any place to sit.
Visited the jar last night. Walked in and looked around and felt like I was at a buffet in a filthy garage. My brothe picked up a paper plate of bland Indian food for $15. Our table seems to have some type of tar/grease that I could of scraped off with a putty knife, dirty floors windows just filthy. I own a bar 6 times the size of this house turned kitchen an I clean it myself. Disgusting to the point I would never put their food in my mouth. Enviroment is just as important guys!
It’s a buffet where everything is veggie friendly. Alot of it is vegan, and they have labels on all the food choices. The staff are always friendly and food is amazing! They now have vegan homemade cookies which are frigging awesome! Downside is you may have to pay for parking.
