I have to admit I was a bit skeptical going here, but I had a pretty good experience overall. Despite the crowd, I was able to grab a seat and order shortly after. I started with the classic margarita, a happy hour special, which was pretty good (not too sweet, but a good amount of lime). My dinner was served shortly after the chips and guacamole, which was decent, though nothing spectacular. I had the shrimp quesadilla, which was filled with cheese. The shrimp had a lot of flavor, and I was stuffed right after. My friend had the carnitas, which he liked, though were quite skimpy for the price. I suppose this isn’t the best place to get a big meal, but rather it’s better for snacks and small plates.
Two words: Taco Tuesday! Get here for happy hour for cheap tacos and cervezas. The pork belly tacos and mushroom quesadillas are my favorites. Fun decor too.
Good experience. We had two tapas and 2 kids meals for $70 with 3 beersSalsa was really good and the steak taco tapas was spicy but a bit toughKind of a scene in terms of the vibe of the place
Wow this place was good! Small portions, but super unique and flavorful cuisine. I recommend ordering a few plates to share. Great date atmosphere!
80% is too low. My friend picked the place so I was surprised after a great meal to see the rating so low. It’s tapas style, get a few share, so small portions are true but the prices aren’t crazy $8 to $12 a piece. Chips with guacamole and salsa, duck flutas, hangar steak tacos, Cuban quesadillas, a brownie dessert, a horchetta and diet for $55? Not that pricy to me for the taste (all yummy, Cuban quesadilla my favorite) and service. If you like mani osteria and Mexican I think you should try Isalita and help increase their score, it’s deserved!!
Small portions for the price. Shocked at how expensive the food was for the size (finger food) portions you receive. Very surprised that other reviews didn’t stress that. Our party was very disappointed.
