It’s a bit hard to resist this cute cafe off of Liberty, but after coming here a few times, I’ve come to this conclusion: you come for the ambiance, but it’s best to go elsewhere for drinks. One of my positive drink experiences consisted of drinking a coconut oolong tea, which was fragrant with coconut and placed in a beautiful teacup (with a matching saucer). It was delicious, and the intricate decor of the cafe gave off the vibe of a classic tea house. The next time I came back, I got the vanilla rose latte. It had a strong rose flavor from the syrup, but I could lightly taste the bitterness of the coffee. I decided to try the honey lavender latte the next time, but unfortunately the coffee was not only bitter, but burnt. No amount of syrup could’ve covered it. This place has amazing potential if they actually made their coffee correctly.
